INCORPORATE ORGANIZATIONETC was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in October 2018.
CREATE ORGANIZATIONAL BY-LAWSOur by-laws can be viewed and downloaded from the Membership > Policies page.
COLLECT EVIDENCE OF INTEREST FROM 120 ADULT MEMBERSWe have more than 120 adult members interested in joining, and over 40 juniors. We are now collecting membership funds for 2019.
OBTAIN MEMBERSHIP FUNDS FOR 120 ADULT MEMBERS.These funds will be held in trust until permit is granted by the City of Toronto. If the permit is denied, the funds will be returned to the members.
ISSUE FINANCIAL STATEMENTSStatements will be used to document our membership and our funds and apply for a permit.
RECEIVE PERMISSION FROM LOCAL COUNCILLORThe existence of a new club has to be approved by a local councillor, essentially determining that the community would benefit from the existence of the club.
