General FAQs
How do I get started to play tennis at Edenbridge TC?
If you have not already purchased a membership, click the Join Now button to do so. Create an account on PlayerCoach.pro then login to book a court. To participate in club programs, see various teams, house leagues, tennis ladders, and social events available under Programs.
Is there indoor tennis available during the winter?
No. Edenbridge is a seasonal outdoor club and the courts are closed during the winter months.
When is the club operational?
Our season typically runs from May 1 to October 31, depending on weather. Sign up for our free newsletter to receive exact seasonal dates each year.
Can members bring non-member guests?
Yes. Members may bring guests to play on the courts.
- Guest Fee: $20 per day
- Purchase Window: Available on PlayerCoach.pro starting 2 hours before court time
- Limit: 5 guest visits per season
I don’t have anyone to play with — what does the club offer?
Edenbridge offers teams, house leagues, singles ladders, round robins, tournaments, and social events. Members can also connect with partners through our email player group, described in the club newsletter.
Is there a tennis ladder at your club?
Yes. Edenbridge runs a digital singles ladder accessed through PlayerCoach under the Connect → Ladders section. Full instructions are available in the Ladder Athlete Guide.
Are tournaments offered at your club?
Yes. We host a variety of singles and doubles tournaments at the end of each season, dependent on member participation.
Membership FAQs
When are memberships available for purchase?
Memberships for the 2026 season go on sale December 1, 2025. Create a free PlayerCoach account to purchase any membership category.
Does membership include lesson fees?
No. Lessons are offered by the Club Pro and paid separately.
Can I get a tour of the facilities before joining?
We do not have a clubhouse or interior facilities. Our amenities consist of the outdoor tennis courts only.
What is the age requirement for senior memberships?
Senior memberships are available for members aged 65 and older.
What do Family Memberships include?
Family memberships include up to two adults and juniors (17 and under) living in the same household.
What do Student memberships include?
Student memberships are for players aged 18–25 who are actively attending school.
Is there a waitlist to join the club?
No. Edenbridge currently does not have a membership waitlist.
What does membership include?
Memberships run from May to October and include:
- Unlimited court bookings
- Free access to club programs: teams, house leagues, ladders, round robins, and socials
- Eligibility for lessons and clinics with the Club Pro (additional cost)
Court Booking FAQs
Can I book a court several days in advance?
Court bookings open one day in advance. Full details are available in the Court Booking Guide.
Is there a cost for court bookings?
No. Court time is free for all members. A $20 guest fee applies for non-members.
How many bookings can I make at once?
Each member may book one slot per day.
- Singles: 1 hour
- Doubles: 2 hours (one hour per member booking)
Can I delete a booking?
Yes. Bookings can be cancelled up to 2 hours before the start time by clicking the “X” on your booking in PlayerCoach.
Tennis Lessons FAQs
Can I coach someone myself or bring my own coach?
No. Only Club Pros are permitted to provide instruction or use teaching baskets and ball machines.
Can non-members take lessons?
No. Lessons are for members only.
Do you offer lessons for kids?
Yes. Junior lessons and clinics vary by age and skill level. View current offerings in PlayerCoach or contact the Club Pro.
Do you offer lessons or clinics for adults?
Yes. Adult private lessons and group clinics are available throughout the season.

Complete the tryouts form included in the February/March newsletter.
How can I join House League or Advanced House League?
Complete the February/March form or contact the league managers. Scheduling is handled through the Team Reach app.
How do I join the Singles Ladder?
Join via PlayerCoach under Connect → Ladders. Full rules are in the Ladder Athlete Guide.
What other programs or socials are offered?
Edenbridge hosts round robins, tournaments, team events, and socials throughout the season. See the Events Calendar for details.

Does Edenbridge offer volunteer opportunities?
Yes. We welcome volunteers for both ongoing roles and single-day events throughout the season.

Policies & Additional FAQs
What is the Pickleball Policy?
Edenbridge is a tennis facility. Please see the Pickleball Policy for details.
What is the Dog Policy?
Dogs are allowed in Scarlett Mills Park but must remain leashed. Dogs are not permitted inside the courts. Owners must keep pets controlled, quiet, and cleaned up after.
These policies are in place to maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all members and guests.
